Seeing that I ll never get to go on an actual Safari, this was a decent but not great substitute. I loved the 3d concept. But I never really got a sense of being there. Part of the problem is, in my view, the fact that somehow the animals look small and distant, and I am wondering if special effects could have improved the drama of seeing a male lion close up that looked about the size of a house cat. I don t know enough about cinemography to give an answer. But it was worththe price of admaission to me... I love nature, learned some things, and got some great views.
