Enter the weird and fascinating mind of Tim Burton and take in this Macabre tale that is well told with great animation and fun musical numbers.

I'm not a big fan of animated movies and I'm not a fan of fantastic movies but there are always exceptions. This movie was not one. I really didn't like the style, the way the story was told, the dark comedy, the story it self. I rented it and actually regretted my choice.

Corpse Bride made $53 million dollars in the American box office. That means that alot of people thought this movie looked good or they had to see it. I didn't really like this movie alot though. Johnny Depp has had better movies but I think this was one of his worst movie, I ever saw! Young kids like probably find it scary though. If your a Johnny Depp fan, I suggest you shouldn't watch this movie but if you like kind of scary movies, this is the movie for you!

The music is phenominal and I loved the plot, even if it was far fetched.

I saw the movie at a sleepover. At first I thought it was going to be really creepy and that I was'nt going to like it... it was really good. The death humour got a little old but it was still really good.

I am a huge fan of Nightmare before Christmas and was anxious to see this film. I am happy to say that it was great. Tim Burton has not lost his touch.

Don't you hate when you're just minding your own business and you get married to a corpse? Whatever. Tim Burton has done it again, a corporeal cascade of catastrophe for children and adults alike. The similaries to Nightmare Before Christmas are obvious, but why not, it was masterful. The voice talents are almost overwhelming, making this film a feast for the ears as well as the eyes, hey, at least ours are attached. Tim Burton is a romantic pragmatist who yearns for a world where different is the norm and acceptance is as simple as getting to know a person or corpse or maggot or vampire. Most of his projects show the same longing for something more than boring. And I forgive you for Planet Of The Apes, everyone makes mistakes.

Another incredibly witty dark comedy from the master of animation, Tim Burton. His movies run deeper then dark and mysterious, elaborative and funny in a way that has you thinking all day. A must see, no doubt about it. Funny combined with morbid, musical combined with suspensful, curiosity will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.

The description says it all: a masterpiece, go see it now! A beautiful story entwined with Tim Burtons one-of-a-kind magic! Just as good as The Nightmare Before Christmas. The only downfall: a little too short. I hope they come out with an unedited edition!

For a movie that was less then a hour and a half I felt as if the movie's story line was drgged out. No plots twists, everything is prictable and everything is a rip of of a nightmare before Christmas. Tim burton is trying to make some easy money or something this one is a stinker.

Once again, Burton delivers an excellent movie, with excellent characters. Though the animation was, in my opinion better this time around, The Nightmare Before Christmas remains a better story. Personally, I loved this movie and would see it over and over again. I wouldn't suggest it for people who are more prone to liking upbeat comedies and chickflicks. This movie is neither. It is dark in appearance and has a great message. It's one of those movies where you either like it, or you just don't.

Very good if you liked the nightmare before Christmas this is exactly the same so be ready for some singing. I think you can bring your kids theres no scary scene if they can survive the lion kings father dying in the first movie they can handle any scene in this movie.

Ooof!!! Wait for the video!!! Not worth the money to see at the theatre. Very dark and seemed drawn out despite being so short in running time. If it's a cartoon you want to see, try Wallace and Grommit!!!

I love Tim Burton, but this definitely one of his best movies. I did enjoy it, despite the several boring parts. I really liked the maggot (Emily's conscience), who provided some comical relief in an otherwise dark movie. I really liked Emily as well - her animation was great. If you were a Nightmare Before Christmas fan, I'd suggest that you go see this. Note, although the movie was good, it was not one that's worth watching again in theater.

I thought this movie was very well done. There were not-so-great moments of course, but overall I absolutely loved it. Johnny Depp, although animated, was brilliant as always. I love Tim Burton's style. Definitely not something for the children, but a wonderful film nonetheless! Go see it!

I've gone twice already and I'm about to go a 3rd time. The graphics are the defination of gothic. The puns and humor are hilerous. Though predictable it well worth the money. And beside who can put a price on such a time less art.

BRILLIANT!!! Is what this movie is. More animated movie like Corpse Bride should be made. A mix of drama/comedy/horror gothic is what make the ride worth it. You will never feel like some part are boring and some other more interesting cuz to movie by himself is a masterpiece. Open your mind for the Corpse Bride and enjoy the ride until the end. Trust me you are going to like it and bring your kids with you.

I'm as big a Tim Burton fan as any. And im a professional animator. Nothing about this movie stood out as anything above average. Tim Burton is certainly not an average filmmaker, but he has somehow taken the soul out of his own style. I had just seen "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" before seeing the corpse bride. That movie had a much more interesting story, more colorful characters, better character design(sorry Tim), and was much funnier. Not sure what such a great artist like Tim Burton was thinking when he made this film. We all get tired I guess.

I saw the Corpse Bride today after reading the reviews here. I was prepared to be disappointed, but the movie is just what I expected from Tim Burton. I found it to be beautifully done, very touching and a nice little story. Yes, you will be able to predict the outcome, but that's ok. The singing does tend to go on a bit long at points, but it picks up again and you are right back into it. All in all, I would recommend the movie. It's worth seeing!!!

A typical Tim Burton movie. Visually stunning, bittersweet ending. Bizarre storyline but it develops nicely, the vocal work is well done. A contender for best animated feature at the Oscars. Theres no way they should be able to charge full price though. With previews I was barely in the theatre for 90 minutes...
