I do not get why people like this movie so much. I liked the effects and all, but I found the plot to be very boring.

It was good. But Edmond is a little bit... Weird... I dunno! But still a great movie.

To tell the truth: I wasn't all that impressed. Beautiful magical images, but somehow lacking in essence - despite the almost oppressive Christian imagery, which, of course, is part of the book. (Yeah yeah, this is a bit on the abstract side, I know. It's just the way I felt about the movie.)

I've rated this movie an 8, cuz I see it as a 9 if you're watching it with kids, but a 7 if it's just for you as an adult.

I cannot understand why anyone can stand this movie. And it wasnt becuase I dont like fantasy, because I usually do. However, this long winded piece of garbage was hard to sit through, infact I didnt, I walked out three quarters of the way through it. It was the first movie I ever walked out on, because no matter how horrendous the film I like to get my moneys worth, in this case I would have paid to get out of staying any longer, so I left.
