I saw this video being bored and it turned out to be a little bit freaky. More suspence then scares and I ended up liking it.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I rented this movie and actually, I thought it would be good... The story was too long for nothing and it was pretty obvious. The ending was really bad, you don't know if her husband died and you don't even know if the police came to the motel. Too much blood for nothing.

Very pointless movie, it had a bad story to it. Could've been much better.

Nothing to write home about really, but it certainly scared my girl-friend. Claustrophic atmosphere. Frank Whaley does a good Gary Oldman-like job.

Ugh! In the world of bad "slasher" flicks, this one sticks out like a sore thumb. A bad script, bad acting, bad editing, bad pacing, bad directing, bad filming... Just plain very bad. I heard nothing good about this movie, but I watched it because of Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale, two actors that I really love. And after seeing it, I just can't quite grasp why either of them would have decided to do this movie. I can't even imagine it sounding good on paper, because if it did sound good on script, then boy did the director REALLY screw it up big time. Forget about this movie. Spare yourself the time and money. Then again, I didn't listen to such words of wisdom either!!!

This movie is so far fetched that I couldn't even rate it on the lead actors. Kate Beckinsale seemed withdrawn from her role and Luke Wilson was out of place here. The concept and story is basically about making snuff films but the audience doesn't care at this point. We are too busy wondering why this movie was ever made. There's nothing new here.

It was pretty good. The ending sucked though I didn't know what happened but other than that it was pretty good.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] This is a terrible movie. They come across a video tape of men abusing women, it's just gross... This is a real thing... I don't want to pay to see women get beaten and thrown around.

It was one of worst movies I have ever watched in my whole life. Even with good actors like Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson could not help the movie to be better. It was so predictable and typical. It wasn't scary nor thrilling. It was absolutely horrible.

My wife and my daughter attended this movie and were just sick after it. We should have left. It was very bad and we felt upset for quite a while after. It is amazing that somebody actually thought up the idea for this movie.

85 minutes of useless money. Although Kate Beckinsale was an amazing actress and followed in her role with more strength then leading man Luke Wilson it couldn't make up for the lack of entertainment that went along with it. It was boring unless people were popping out of no where and the ending was one of the worst cliff hangers I have witnessed in my years of movie. The way it ended just wrapped up the whole movie and proved how bad it was. I must give Mark L. Smith (writer) kudos for it because I believe that with a different approach to the movie it could have been amazing.

I thought since this movie had two fairly big-name stars it would be more classy than the usual - couple gets lost off interstate, ends up at secluded hotel, runs into moronic bloodthirsty hillbillies. Nope, same crap, different title.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I liked this movie because it was simple and raw. I really felt I could relate to the characters in their situation. It kept me thinking what would I do if I were them? Which also led me to some negative aspects of this film, like why did it take Luke so long rip out the towel bar in the bathroom to use as a weapon. Also, there's no way a cop would be sent out to a 9-11 call and disappear and not report back without anyone getting worried and sending out more cops. Loved the ending because it was original.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Was a fairly good entertainer. Just for the fact that Luke Wilson doesn't die cause he's the man! More of a comedy for me, didn't scare me. Totally go see it if you enjoy the fakey spook movies.

It's only 15 minutes of movie that was drawn out to over 1 hour in length - so it went on and on even though there was very little material to work with. Bad acting by otherwise good actors - their reactions to various situations were highly unrealistic.

One of the must sees of the year!! Yet it could be better. Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale were amazing, but they sometimes lacked chemistry. The movie was really short, yet at sometimes it felt like eternity. Scary as poopy pants, but also very predictable (it made me drop my popcorn and jump out of my pants)! I loved the way it ended because the credits were like the cherry on my sundae.

I thought the movie was actually pretty good but like the way it was done was just stupid they gave away all the good parts in the commercials. I hate when movies are like that.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The acting was actually pretty decent. Luke and Kate convinced me and so did the creepy motel keeper. It could have been longer and better though. Also, what was wrong with Luke's logic in the movie? He had the glass, but then he left it. There were so many weapons he could've used like the shower curtain bar! The ending was pretty bad too. You can't get stabbed, lie on the ground and still not die from blood loss after like 4 hours! Other than that, it was good. It's one of the better horror movies that have been released this year.

Nice to see a movie that relies on suspense rather than gore. This movie had me glued to the screen the whole time. I give it an 8 cause of the quicky ending. Still a really good movie.

This is an absolutely terrible movie. Lame, weak plot, completely predictable. We were able to speak half the lines before the characters said them. Not suspenseful or scary. At the most, two MINOR jumps throughout the movie. Plus, no ending whatsoever. Go if you want to laugh, not get scared.

This one is no brainiac. It's not that complicated, only one small intrigue: motel and the workers. Once you figure it out, there's nothing more, so the movie had to be short. It doesn't have that wow factor for sure. It was alright. Left me feeling like it could have been much better though.
