[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] It's not my type of movie. I don't like watching love movies but that day I was bored and watch it on tv. It s cute, so romantic and emotional to see Hilary Swank becoming depressed with the dead of her husband. The end is exactly what I was expecting, I really wanted to see her back to Ireland and meet the Singer again.

Cute_angel_girl: Why would you tell someone to never go see it, especially guys? Ever stop to think that some guys (moi included) might like chick flicks? As for the movie, 20/10! Loved it! Loved the humor with Dun Lagohaire, I couldn't pronounce that and I'm Irish!

It was wonderful. My family watched it with me and my father was laughing at all the same parts that I did. My mother had quiet laughter, but it was a good movie to watch together because there was something in it that made you think. I'd recommend it to man or woman and hope that they know that it's a feel good movie. Enjoy!

I absolutely loved this movie. It is such a chick flick, but my husband also enjoyed it. Beware... it's really, really sad. I started crying five minutes into it. It really makes you think about life and appreciate the person you're with. Such a good date movie!

Hilary Swank delivered a wonderful and believable performance, but the other characters were a bit lacking. Gerard Butler's character was expected to play more of a part but he practically had nothing. Not as cheesy as I expected, but with surprising twists and funny parts mixed into the sadness. Seriously, if you cried through the entire movie, you must have emotional problems of your own because it is not that sad. Definitely a chick flick but it was overall an enjoyable movie. Good for theater or rental.

I've seen it 2 times and will buy it once it becomes available. It is a touching story of love and its ability to shape and bring us closer to who we are designed to be. Bring your kleenex but its worth the tears!

This is possibly the saddest, most depressing movie I have ever seen. I cried through practically the entire thing. If you're in the mood for a real emotional drainer, this is definitely the movie for you.

The part that bothers me about romance movies is that girls in general think or expect life with men will all be fairy tale or happy ever-after! I wish someone would make a movie about reality and how- not fairy tale it is. Yes for some it is, be majority--not.

This movie was okay. I think it would have been much better with Jennifer Garner, say, instead of Hillary Swank. Swank is too intense and strong an actor to pull off the lightness this movie required. There were lots of fun moments, but nothing really lasting or memorable here. An average feel-good flick.

I don't normally like movies like this but this one was funny and sweet! Definitely a Chick Flick though so don't be mean and drag a date to this. (I went with my sisters) Gerard Butler is unbelievably charming.

For me to see a movie more than once and I've seen this one 9 times already, it has to be a very good movie. I laughed and cried even more the last time I saw it. Now I can't wait for the DVD. Gerard Butler is incredible in this role and don't believe the critics as he and Hillary Swanks have very good chemistry and that is why the story works.

After "love story", come "P. S I love you": it has been a long time between those two... P. S I love you is such great drama sentimental story, each actors are just superb in their acting, but you must have solid nerves to see it, because or you are about to cry a river or just laugh every second!

This movie was as much an emotional roller coaster as was Steel Magnolias. One minute I was laughing and the next I was sobbing. Hilary Swank is once again stellar in her performance as the young widow. She is believable. Kudrow and Geshon do an excellent job as the best friends and support system. This movie has all the essential elements – funny friends, cute boys, and fabulous scenery. It’s a movie that works as a date movie or as one you go see with your girlfriends. Lisa Kudrow’s quest for finding the right guy is hilarious. Gerard Butler is so easy to look at and so amazingly romantic... What is so appreciated is that this romantic comedy is free from x-rated sex and extreme profanity... what a nice change.

Very nice date movie and a movie to see on a girl's night out. The characters in it are are captivating and actors play them out well. Can get cheesy sometimes but only lasts for about 2 seconds. The storyline is very sweet and there are both good laughs a tears (more laughter), must go see if you're a fan of movies like the holiday.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Cried from the first scene to the last - Hilary Swank is a gifted actress and she doesn't disappoint - however this movie is very sad and doesn't end on a feel good note - definitely not a comedy.

If you're looking to release some emotion or simply relate to the joys of falling in love and the pain of losing someone and then the sheer agony of trying to move on without that special someone in your life -- then definitely go see it! I plan on buying this one I loved it so much!! If you liked "Love Actually" you'll like this one too! P. S. The guys are pretty hot too ;)

This movie is worth seeing. Some parts are a little dragged on but I think it adds depth the movie as a whole. My best friend and I enjoyed it and thought it was worth seeing it in the theatre. Also, I recommend the book. I left the theatre wanting more... bought the book and read the 400+ pages within 4 days.

This is the sweetest romantic comedy I've seen since 50 First Dates. It's beautiful and touching and utterly romantic but not to the point of cheesiness. A must see movie for fans of this type of movie , and the book. U will not be disappointed! And Lisa Kudrow could not be funnier!!
