This movie made me feel very sad. People are such sheeps and they will always just follow orders. Most of us want to live happy, peaceful lives. I hope Hitler is in Hell.

Great movie - much better than I expected. An intriguing look at the true conspiracy to assassinate Adolf Hitler and the incredible risks those men took. Though a very bizarre choice for the lead role, Tom Cruise actually does a very good job.

I'm not a Tom Cruise fan. Never was. Nonetheless, he gave a credible performance although I couldn't stand him during the first 5 minutes of the film. I would say he pulled it off with this one. Not bad at all.

This was a very good movie, the acting was great and the story, because of its true nature, keeps you captivated. It really makes you feel how times were during the war, you must see it if you enjoy history!

Very well done. I'd never known the whole extent of the coup before, just about the explosion itself, so I found it very interesting. Especially loved the beginning transition from German to English, made for a great affect.

I was pleased at how it actually followed history and allowed you to see that everyone chooses what side he will support and when he finds out it is not what he thought - you can still choose the better path. If you don't, you are part of the problem.

Are yoy guys blind? This movie was one of the worst I have ever seen! It was very boring and it took forever for it to get me somewhat interested! The action couldn't pull this film out of the gutters but the ending did (not because I was glad it was over, but for the fact that I found it interesting and exciting. Mmm executions!) so that is why I will give it 2 stars. But if you like Tom Cruise and like these sort of movies then I can see why you would enjoy it. Can somebody please tell me that I am not blind and that I am not being so harsh saying this movie is awful. There must be someone who agrees with me!

Cruise was a little bit like cardboard at times, and if you pay really close attention it almost seems as though they cut out bits from his previous movies and slid them into this one. I love the portrayal of Hitler as a softspoken and coy little bag of timidity. Only entertaining because the actual event was, and luckily it does a pretty accurate job of retelling the story.

The story of the plot is GREAT and entertaining. The suspense kept me on edge. But PLEASE! Why Tom Cruise for this film? Somehow aloof and not comfortable in what he portrayed. His performance was good, but not his best role. Did he get this leading part because he looks amazingly like Stauffenberg (apparently)? Outstanding is the presentation of the war costumes and scenario.

When I saw this film in production a few years back, I knew this would be good just looking at the cast. Got to tell you I was not deceived as this film depicted the last assassination attempt on Hilter and what it took and everything that goes with it... wow is all I got to say very well done. I enjoyed this film and I believe it will be remembered as one of the best WW2 film out there. It was so good that at the end of the film the room filled with people remained silent, touched and in awe for the men that gave their lives to try to stop a monster.

TOP NAZI, A Fuhrer Good Men, German McGuire. Through a mouthful of popcorn I would yell," but he's suppose to be German, shouldn't he at least try to have a German accent? I mean the guy gets paid a zillion dollars a movie!" Maybe Scientology doesn't permit accents?! Just more US propaganda at work. The good Germans sound American and the bad ones had accents. But you know with a Tom Cruise movie, you will be entertained. It's forced upon you like shock treatment."Enjoy this movie!".. and I did! It just needed a Top Gun volleyball scene and would've been Oscar material.

Fantastic movie. Not only does it expand your history but its great entertainment as well keeping you on the edge of your seat all the way. Movie certainly falls into the category of political movies revolving around a conspiracy obviously not for all audiences.

Nothing to do with nazi's reign or rule. Does not explore moral justification of von stauffenberg's actions nor the crimes of the nazi regime. Movie is predictable, the plot revolves a minor incident with little impact, and being a WWII history film it does not educate nor inform.

There are 3 things wrong about this movie. 1 Too many close-ups of Tom Cruise face. 2 Unless you know this part of history, some confusion about sargents, colonels, majors, generals. 3 Typical Hollywood, using British actors, with British accents, pretending to be Germans. Couldn't they find Dutch, Danish actors who could fake a German accent.

Superb acting, awesome storytelling! You literally sit on the edge of your seat even though you know the outcome. It was the best war movie ever and a proof that storytelling and acting are superior to any visual effects - not that it didn't have that too. You got to watch!

Sorry, not an action-adventure but a drama-thriller (conspiracy) movie based on a true story. So if you need lots or crashes and bangs to keep you riveted to you seat during a movie, this is not for you. Great attention to detail on not only the scenes but the atmosphere of Germany during the Nazi regime. Sticking to the "plot" made this movie, wandering off into sub-plots made no sense for this type of movie. How un-Hollywood, well done! Note to nitpickers about the accents: If you don't mind some the main characters speaking with British or American accents I guess Germans who also speak English with British or American accents won't mind either.
