Hi everybody in fact, I am from the Middle East especially (Saudi Arabia) this movie shows a bad picture for us as muslims, and that really hurts me because the american army is shown as Angels!! And the arab is devil!!! Look, to be honest yes I know we have some of stupid and rude muslims, ,but not all of them. Americans destroy the middle east because of oil!!! It really hurts!!

Yes, The USA americans are heroes as they should be in their USA american movies. They put their money into them, don't they? But this movie shows in part the big mess in which they are involved in the Middle East and it is horrifying. Not only that: the dominoe effect that this is causing all over the world for so many years now, is just incredible. What is also incredible is that parents continue to abuse their young kids taking them to see movies like this with absolutely no problem or remorse. That is child abuse in a subtle way, because nobody, except me, confront them. I can't stand their poor criteria.

I don't understand why this movie is getting bad reviews. The directing is what we have come to expect from Ridley Scott, nearly perfect. The acting in this film was great. Leo did an exceptional job and took control of every scene he was in. Russell had a Strong performance as well. The people who rated this movie low because they believe the story doesn't make sense apparently are [...] to piece it together on there own. And this whole "America is depicted as a better country" thing is ridiculous. It IS a better country. You go to the Middle East and its twice as bad as it is depicted in this film. So don't go bashing the movie just because you don't have your facts straight and you are too dense to follow the story.

Good movie. I think it is well done and quiet neutral, doesn't take a side; Americans have no mercy towards non americans, terrorists are not real muslims but stupid murderers, and arabs are not that stupid. Apart from the fact that only arabs get killed and that only crowded and smelling streets in the arab countries (which is not the truth)are shown, he movie is not bad at all. The romantic story was cute and for people who think that it's out of the subject: People, these things happen. Leonardo is believable & did a good effort in learning his arabic sentences. Russel Crowe was very performing. Bon courage for the next movie Leo!

The Movie was a display of lies. It is an Anti-Arab attempt of an action movie. The action scenes are weak, and the story does not make sense. They stated a few facts about the war on Terror in the middle east, but most parts are not even close to reality. It shows only OLD smokey cars in the arab countries, and in washington fancy and latest model Cars.

I don't like this genre of movie, yet I liked Body of Lies. Worth seeing even if you feel like you don't really want to watch it and you're only going because your friends are going. A little gory, but not gratuitous. Keep your guy friends happy. Go see this film.

Go and see this movie, It was surprizingly a great storyline. Dicaprio and Russell Crowe really act well. It has alot of elements of surprise and makes you really think of how crazy they are in other parts of the world.

Definitely not the best "DiCaprio" movie, but still worth it to watch.. its pretty entertaining and keeps you at the edge of your seat and shows you how the american system is. It shows pretty much that the Jordanians were smarter than the americans. It shows too much the "middle eastern" as some "extreme islams"...

Let me begin by saying I am not a DiCaprio fan. Haven't been since his debut in Titanic. I went to the movie with that bias floating around in my head. After watching this movie for about 10 minutes, I was riveted to my seat. The acting was exceptional, the directing was superb, the cinematography was excellent. The movie kept my attention for the entire time. What movies of this gendre should strive to be.

Another superior visual filmmaking effort from Ridley Scott. I thought the story line was not terrible, but perhaps a bit on the well traveled side of things. How many films can you see where the technology is the star-I know I reached my limit of ooing and aaing high tech gadgets in films years ago. Leonardo DiCaprio gives a far above average performance as usual, and Russel Crow is excellent as a CIA gimp fighting the good fight in all ways dirty. And probably more realistic in that sense than not, I suppose. Well worth it if you dig spy flicks.

Really enjoyed this one... suspenseful, thought-provoking but didn't insult the viewer by force-feeding their theories. Crowe depicts a fantastical over-indulged, bloated American with a sense of entitlement. A must see.

It was a really good movie. It kinda tells you little bit of everything. Agreements that are not known and done secretly. Thus, you are not quite sure who to trust. Its pretty much the world that we are living in now:)) Amazing acting D. Caprio and Mark Strong. 5 stars...

WE actually ended up in this movie thinking it was another. We stayed for the movie and were quite impressed. It gives a little insight as to what MAY be happening on the other side of the world. I think it is important to remember that this movie only represents a possibility and not FACT.

Probably one of the worst movies I've seen at least this year. Very stereotyical portrayal of middle easterns as evil, subordinate and morally depraved. How come they are the only ones that get blown up in the film? DiCaprio is totally unbelievable in his role as well - too young to have the responsibility he has in the movie. Also, the weakest performance I've seen so far from Russel Crowe. Typical american movie. Some of the cinemetography is nice.

Ridley Scott is my favorite director. Several of his movies are among my all time favorites. So it is with some angst that I do not give a glowing review for this one. There is nothing 'wrong' with anything in this movie, the acting, the visuals, pretty much everything is all top notch. So what is my problem? I guess it boils down to this. I like for my movies to have a point beyond pure nihilism. And I really did not find much of a message in this movie beyond the pointless futility of it all.
