This is a good date movie. It moved slow at times but the chemistry between Eric and Rachel was very strong and made this story believable. A bit of a tear jerker, and I felt myself really pulling for this couple. Good acting performances and a good plot.

A 6 or a 7? Not bad but worth seeing? Good movie but could be better? I enjoyed it but found the characters a little too underplayed much of the time. The two main characters seemed to take the whole thing in stride more than I believed. I guess they'd get used to it after a while but... I found it interesting that Brad Pitt was executive producer. I wonder if he was inspired to make this while making Benjamin Button, another time-warp theme. Enjoyable. Could have been better. Could have been a lot worse too. Worth seeing if you haven't already.

I normally do not enjoy movies that take after a book but this one was surprisingly okay. I couldn't of enjoyed the characters anymore, they were both really believable and the chemistry between the two was undeniable. There was alot missing from the book which interrupted the flow of the movie but overall, alright.

Eric Bana is so cute! That is the gist of my review because frankly I don't remember any of the story because it was too much full of holes.

It definitely holds your interest. I didn't like the silliness of arriving in different time sequences without clothing, but I suppose that is the way the book is written, which I have not read. It was a romantic movie and I did not find it to be a tear-jerker. I think it is definitely a movie to see our of curiosity, rather than a deep film experience.

I read the book first and wondered how the movie would turn out... I was impressed but sad the ending wasn't the same as the book.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I read the book, which I absolutely loved. It was a brilliant piece of writing, and I was so excited to see the movie. The movie was great, I think Rachel McAdams was the perfect pick for Clare, and Eric Bana for Henry. There are several things that knocked down my score of this movie :-The book was much more sexual... Clare and Henry had a very passionate and sexual relationship... Henry NEEDS sex to stop from time travelling... and I think this was important point missed. -I understand having to take parts out of the movie, but I think that Kimy, Ben and Ingrid should have been in the movie--major characters should not be excluded. -I think that the hunters should have remained as Clare's dad and brother But this movie definitely pulled more emotion out of me than the novel! Loved it, and I will watch it again--removing the novel from the movie itself.

My recommendation is that if you haven't read the book, you may not be able to follow the story. The book was awesome, so it made following the storyline easy for me. The movie was good. Again, Rachel McAdams is brilliant in this film.

Yaaawnn... Rachel McAdams is cute and Eric Bana is a good actor and there seems to be a real chemistry between them but... despite the premise which, on paper, looks like it should be interesting, it's quite dull and repetitive and a little disjointed as well.

What a beautiful heartfelt movie. It had all the ingredients needed to make this movie perfection. The story line stole my heart and is a great gal pal movie and or a date movie. You won't be let down if you watch it.

First half is a bit awkward- but I guess it’s an awkward concept to put on film. It gets a lot better though, and I actually really enjoyed it. By the end I really cared about the characters, and even shed a little tear. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams are delicious as always. The book is of course much better, and I HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE!!

A good movie, but I feel it could have been a lot stronger. Can't really put my finger on what was missing. However I did enjoy the fact that there was some humour in it as I wasn't up to a kleenex evening as some people have suggested. I imagine the book would have had a lot more detail and therefore feeling in it. I much preferred The Lake House with Sandra Bullock which was also a time traveller type movie. Could also have been that there have been several time traveller movies. Go see it and see what you think!

A lot of tugging on the heart strings but to what end? It was missing something... although Rachel McAdams is a stone cold fox and that helps.

It was okay... I was a bit disappointed because I expected to feel a bit more of an emotional connection to the main characters but I did not get that... There is no twist or anything exciting, the movie is very predictable.

I knew this was going to be a sad, sappy movie, and I did shed some tears at various points throughout, but I thought overall it was good, the story made me try to twist my mind around the whole time travel idea, and the ending wrapped it all up nicely, and I just love a happy ending.

I read the book first, so I was able to follow what was going on, but I think it might have been a little confusing to those who haven't read the book. I liked the way the time traveler moved in and out of the scenes and the movie itself was well done. However, I think they shouldn't have changed the way the movie ended. The original was VERY good and heartwarming.

The story itself is wonderful. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams play their roles really well and there's a beautiful chemistry between them. Unfortunately, the movie is too long and the ending is predictable. This is why I give it a 6 on 10, wait until it's out on dvd to watch it.

Worst film I've seen in about 3 years. The only good thing is the young actors - by chance otherwise after very short order - I would have left - all they do is wait for each other and kiss each other - story? Why bother...

The idea of "time" in the movie was great! The person who tought about the history is a genious. Off course it is not possible what happens, but the Literary language based on the context makes the movie a great one! Rachel and Eric did a lovely couple, perfect one! I definitely recomend it!

So-so and worth it only if you don't pay to see it... if you've seen the trailers for the movie, you've seen the entire thing... it's pretty much the trailers played over and over again with filler in the middle... however, Eric Bana does give the film some credibility with good acting - and Rachel McAdams does well at playing someone you feel sorry for... lackluster and predictable storyline make this movie worth seeing only when it comes out on dvd...

A love story filled passion and romance. Excellent chemistry between Bana and McAdams. The movie seems to get lost at times because the time traveler goes back and forth, however; once you are aware of the story line it is ok. Overall, good drama.

The book was great and I'm glad I read it first. Eric Bana does absolutely nothing for me, I find him bland. Rachel McAdams was great which saved the movie from disaster.

Eric Bana, as an unknown to me, is a dashing, handsome, hunk with a sensual voice making for a true romantic movie. Too bad about his disapperances & short life. Well worth seeing, especially if you like romantic movies/ stories.

To those who did not understand or appreciate the movie, you should have read the book prior. This is the only movie that stayed true to the original novel that left me feeling satisfied and content as I left. Great movie! Read the book!

I went with my wife. She liked it but that does not say much, if you like sappy over done romantic crap this one is for you! I thought it was a huge chick flick with little else to offer. Here is an idea... make the time travel intresting!

If I could travel in time, I'd tell myself not to see this movie. The acting was poor and Rachel McAdams' character showed no depth for 3/4 of the movie. Not to mention that story is extremely tedious...

I don't even know where to begin. The idea behind the story was interesting. But watching this movie I felt no connection to the story or the characters. Specifically Erica Bana which I consider a talented actor but somehow didn't deliver the goods on this one. I'm not saying overall this was bad but I believe if someone else was behind the directing and Eric wasn't involved maybe my opinion would have been different.

This was a great movie. And a real tear jerker. I went to see it with my friend and when it was over we looked around the theater only to see everyone there had red puffy eyes. Though it was a little confusing at times it was still a great movie. (I havent read the book yet)

I could see how the book would be much better without even having read it. Very loosely done, and unclear about what the heck was going on most of the time. The only way you knew what time it was taking place was that he had a mullet, he looked normal, or he had grey hair. Other than that, not very elaborate. Also note that he does NOTHING cool while he time travels.

I read the booked and loved the movie. For those here who say it sucked or said it was confusing clearly did not read the book. This movie really is a love story, if you want to focus on the unbelievability of time travelling you are missing the whole point. I suppose this movie is for certain people, not for those who loved Transformers or don't read novels. I loved this movie and wasn't at all confused or lost. Beautiful acting for a beautiful story.
