The Two Towers isn't better than the first one, it's actually the worst of the series because it seems too simplistic and predictable. Although the movie is very heavy in battle sequences, I wouldn't call it a masterpiece though. But it is definitely uplifted by the strong spirit and development of it's extended version. This one in my opinion has the best extended version out of the entire series. The build-up is steady and brings the movie into a strong structure. It has the most important parts of the entire series. And Peter Jackson does very well putting them together. I just didn't like this one as of being an amazing masterpiece because it's nothing special. I enjoyed it, it's probably in my top 20, but not in my top 10. But everything in this movie is stellar. All in all, it's a pretty good show.

The greatest movie ever conceived, save the other films in the trilogy. I loved all of the LOTR films, amazing movies.

A great continuation of the first movie, the plot lacked a little but the Helms Deep scene made up for it.

There are few words that can explain this truly great work. It has to be seen on the big screen and big sound. It all about the big story (and series) And you got to love special effects and graphics to really appreciate this genre.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
This movie completely follows the Fellowship of the Ring! Pippin and Mary being captured by orcs, Frodo and Sam making there way to Mordor alone, and the other three following Pippin and Mary. When Gandolf was back it the movie just got better!! A must see one of the best movies of the year!
