Good job by Night, this movie right up there with The six sense & Unbreakable. The performance by Joaquin & Mel were good.

[...] I thought this film was great and what was even greater was that a day after I watched this film the was 2 fields with crops circles about 5 minutes away from were I live!!! I think that Mel Gibson did very well in acting on this film and people that say he didn't are just flippen jealouse because he is a very good actor!!!

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] This was a great movie. Everything was in a place for a reason. The brother being a baseball player, Bo not finishing her water, and the other kid having asthma. Great, great movie.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I don't quite get the movie. I don't find it scary at all. The story goes pretty slow. I don't get what the intentions of the aliens are. And at the end of the movie, people seem to assume it was faith in God that saved the kid, couldn't it have been the alien who saved him? I mean, the alien did spray him with something... and who knows what it is.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Indeed, this movie could have been much better. I feel awkward giving M. Shyamalan advice on how to direct his movies in the future (having also seen The Village, which by the way is rated along the same lines as I rate this one) but I believe that part of the intrigue rests on uncertainty. As M. Shyamalan said himself, "what we are all afraid of is the unknown. We all fear what we cannot see, what we do not know, for example the dark." I believe that to be very accurate, but Shyamalan doesn't feature this into Signs (or The Village for that matter) In my opinion, this movie fails at the very end. It is in showing us the alien that we have feared throughout the whole movie that he loses it. The flow of the film is interupted by the revelation of the monster because it is as if the director is saying : "Look, here's the monster, he's not that freaky... Look at him! " Shyamalan destroys the uncertainty that kept our blood chilly throughout the movie. He unmasks the unknown. The whole movie is then put to question as a result. But before the ending, the movie is quite spectacular. The movie has an amazing aspect of mystery which keeps us binded to the movie. The acting couldn't be much better. The characters themselves radiate a delicious mist of mystery. For example, Mel Gibason's daughter is extremely mysterious. We sort of hold a grudge against her because the director makes us suspect that she will play a role at the very end. The whole movie is draped in a curtain of mystery which we long to be uncovered by a great conclusion. What a shame that it doesn't come.

I don't understand what it is talking about. I think it is one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. If Mel Gibson didn't play a a role in it, I would never choose to watch. And the truth is that my first impression is right: this movie sucks.

I think Signs is one of the best movie's ever, it's so great and scary, the ending is the best part. It's just so... cool!!! I saw one review saying "Why did the wife die", well if she hadn't died, they'd all be dead!

Wow, this movie is goood! It's freaky, not because it's gory, it'S not. It's because it's psychological. See this movie.
