This show is so awesome I never knew they could make such a fantastic movie based off a ride at Disney Land I think all the cast members did good but the actors that really did fantastic where Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightly. A fantastic movie that kept me on the edge of the seat the whole time worth seeing again and again.

Excellent, I really liked this one and so did my kids. Very good special effects, good acting and a clever story. I recommend it for the whole family. There are a few scary moments but kid's love that.

Highly entertaining movie. Although I enjoyed the 2nd a tad more, this is still a terrific movie & it sets many of the pieces for the 2nd in place that you will probably want to know before seeing it.

It's critically acclaimed and doubtfully repetitive. Yet it is highly entertaining, it brings the dark and humorous into the pirates of the Caribbean. All blaim goes to Jerry Bruickheimer, but everything else is great fun. Especially Johnny Depp, who drags the beat into the tone of this movie.

You know, it's funny. To me, this movie is the perfect 8/10 rating movie. May leave you exhausted like the theme park ride that inspired it; however, you'll have a good time when it's over. The movie is just far too long.

While it was good to see pirates on the big screen without peter pan, I was annoyed by Johnny Depp and whats to like about Orlando Bloom(unless you are a teenage girl) kind of good but mostly bad. Good to see if you are stuck in a smallish town with nothing to do at night and you are really tired with an attention span of an 8 year old [...]

One of the best moviers I've seen in awhile! I wasn't dissapointed at all! Very humourous, especially Johhny Depp who provided excellent acting as Jack Sparrow. It is slightly childish (no blood or gore or serious violence) so I take 1 point off for that. Excellent job!

I have to say this is an amazing movie, great acting on Johnny Depp's part, love his wit and complicated plans. Personaly I didnt like will turner's (Bloom) acting in this movie, but it is by far one of my favorite movies of all time!

Well when it came out, I was kinda scared of the skeleton part of the previews, but then my aunt bought it for me and WOW!!! Was I amazed. Good acting, storyline, beggining, middle, end, and most of all. Good entertainment. BUT!!! I would only rent it and not worth seeing in theatres, but by it because of all the fancy pancy special features and subtitles. And it also lost my intrest for about 25 minutes. But still, such a good movie.
