This film exposes the well-known strategy of multinationals, get the companies running in a third world country, and when the workers ask for better working conditions, move the company to a poorer place for better profits. What do you do thereafter with the closed down industry that was the bread and butter of so many families? In Argentina, the exploiter becomes the exploited to the benefit of so many workers! To whomever has a social conscience, a must see documentary!

This movie is totally necessary, and quite well made. If you're a fan of global politics, power struggle and globalization, see this movie. However, if you're going in to see a well-crafted documentary, you will not be blown away. The structure is good, but disjointed at times. The Take is a one-sided take on an often one-sided problem. This movie would have been great if it was longer and represented other views not shared by the writer and director.

It captures a great historical moment, where a door appears to open to the workers with in democracy, apparently defeating the abuses of the capitalism, bringing up the contradictions of the system. The question is how this is going to evolve? Are the Americans going to let that happen or send them the "marines" if they touch the multinational corporations?

A great story that keeps you going. And an important message to boot! Perhaps this movement, just emerging in Argentina, shows us the beginnings of a new economy: capitalism controlled by the people (!? ) [...] If you've got any interest in social or business issues, this is a must see. Otherwise, you can simply enjoy a good flick about the real stories of real people.
