This is a Good movie, definitely worth seeing! It makes you question what's actually real and what is not and the meaning to life. Very intriguing and filled with suspense! Memorable and gripping performances from Keira Knightley and Adrien Brody..

Picked this movie up at the video store cuz there was nothing else to see. What a GEM!!! Thoroughly liked it. Wasn't expecting much from it when I read the back of the box, but really got my money's worth.

I need somebody to explain this movie to me cause I'm not sure I understoud everything! The jacket is really the type of movie that requires all your attention because a lot of strange things happen and they're not clearly explained. It kind of reminded me of Jacob's Ladder and Donnie Darko so if you enjoyed those movies u will probably like this one.

I really didn't know what to expect from the Jacket and I was pleasantly surprised. You can't go wrong with talented actors such as these two, and even as a guy who generally doesn't like sci-fi, I enjoyed the story.

A good movie. The plot was good. Adrien Brody really gives us THE feeling when he is doing his treatment.

Go see this movie. Totally unpredictable. It's worth every penny. The plot and the acting are TOP NOTCH. You won't regret watching it. I am glad there are still intelligent films out there that don't rely solely on car chases, gore and special effects.

Although an interesting concept I continuously felt like I didn't care about what was going to happen next. This is not a good thing for a thriller. Also, there was absolutely no chemistry between Knightley and Brody.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I wish some of the reviewers would understand that not everything needs to be explained in the movie- the green necklace is a subtle hint, and the ending justifies the female doctor - she ends up being a better person than one would have thought. Don't get put off by time travel, it's not the sci-fi idea that matters, it's just a game on fate. See it with someone smart.

Adrien Brody puts in a great performance, but Keira Knightly seems to have forgotten how to act in this one. Her inappropriate facial expressions and general annoying poutiness ruined all of the scenes that she was in. (for me) Interesting concept, but flawed movie.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The Jacket is an interesting concept (I enjoyed the time travel twist), and the end is very well done, however throughout the movie, I didn't feel the thrill and chill that I had expected. Worth seeing for fans of sci-fi and time travel.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Important! This movie bears two stories in one and few are the people who will see the second one... Hint... Hint... first, pay attention to the dates on the tomb stones especially Mckenzie's, 2nd, pay attention to the green beaded necklace and 3rd pay attention to what both the young and old Mckenzie's say. This should be enough for you to get it and if you do, you'll see how clever this movie is!!! Enough said!

They leave many things unexplained, which is kinda frustrating... but good performances by Adrien Brody, and kiera knightly. Good for rental.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The most powerfull aspects of this film undoubtedly lie in Brody's performance. However, despite its interesting and original storyline, the shortcommings of this film prevent it from being "remarkable" and instead bring it to a level of "above ordinary". Part of the problem is in having a true grasp of the phenomenon occuring, one that can be understood and effieciently relayed to the viewer. The second stems from the lack of suspense: the second half of the movie, while being very interesting to watch, holds no true mystery. Its only intrigue (his death) is dissipated by some random unfortunate event which fails to redeem the lack of involvement from the viewer as a whole.

This movie was a great movie! It is one of those movies that I would just want to go and see over and over again! I am also a big fan of Keira Knightley so that helps a lot! And Adrien Brody is VERY hot!!!

My husband nodded off at the beginning of this movie, I usually nudge him to wake him up, did not bother as this movie started off bad and jus got worse. I would definitely not recommend it.

Don't listen to to the critics who disliked this movie; it's a wonderful film: great story, great acting, great directing and well worth your time and measly $10.50.

Apart from excellent acting by Adrian Broady, I found the idea of the movie a bit far fetched, and although I happen to be a big fan of time travel, I found that there was far too much transition from the past to the present to the future etc... But all in all I guess that it is an o. K movie!

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] First of all, this is not a thriller. It starts off looking like it's going to be a thriller, but it is far from that. It is actually a romantic drama involving time travel. We don't know why Adrien Brody is able to travel into the future, but one thing is for sure: it makes more sense than the silly way Ashton Kutcher is able to do it in "The Butterfly Effect". The Jacket bears some resemblance to this film, as well as to such films as 12 Monkeys and Jacob's Ladder. For those of you who watched the show "Quantum Leap", you will probably notice that this movie was heavily inspired by the "Shock Theater" episode. So, in summary, The Jacket: good movie, but don't expect it to be a thriller, because you may be disappointed.

Despite strong performances by the four principal actors and an interesting storyline (that includes a very good ending), this movie somehow misses the mark and left me dissatisfied with the overall product.
