An unbelievable movie. I was so impressed. The first time I watched this movie it gave me chills and got my adrenaline going. By far one of my favorite movies of all time.

It is worth it to see this movie once to enjoy the artistic value of it. However, it gives an inaccurate history lesson of a story that needed no embellishment. I find that this movie gets substantially worse each time I watch it. Why did they feel the need to make Xerxes like that?

One of the best action movies ever! I loved the raw animosity and the special effects were sick! So is the way the images were mildly computerized.

Fantastic Gerald Butler was a fantastic King Leonidas the war between Persia and Greece was so real I thought for a second I was watching a documentary!! Well something like that inspirational performances from the entire cast I have to say some past Ancient War/History movies have had that not so great feel to them such as Alexander and Troy but this didn't have that feel not once a fantastic action movie with great graphics and writing! Highly Recommended got see it or buy it.

Awesome movie. Very entertaining. The colours are excellent. The effects are very well done. If you want to distract your mind for a couple of hours, this is the movie.

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I'd been expecting mindless, testosterone-driven, comic book-style violence. Instead, I got structured, honourable, intelligent, stylish purpose. It's a marvel to behold, visually, and the story is much more interesting than the trailer lets on. People always talk about this movie in terms of special effects or war cries, but 300, as I discovered, is much more than that.

The movie was a masterpiece. It resembled a good story line; equipped with excellent fighting scenes. I personally thought the other characters were well thought of, giving this movie a touch of fantasy as well. Definitely one of my favourites!

All this talk of freedom from barbarians who's kids were taken at age 7, abused, starved and must survive or die. Yet these village-state barbarians were offered a deal from a huge empire and talk about all this freedom they have? Enjoy your freedom now that you are dead bub, because your society isn't giving you any choices. Seemed like modern American hype. Anyway, it was full of errors and extortions, very disappointing.

I was one of the first to see the trailer of this movie roughly a year before it came out. For the first time of my life I waited for so long living on a 1.20min trailer to see this epic movie. Turns out it was complete and utter disappointment. I have studied in detail the story and it was far from being what it could have been, this movie had potential and it failed its biggest fan. When I look at it, the trailer had was better than the actually movie, the music was good and it had timing with the action scenes. A bunch of guys with a ton of make up and all done on computer so much that it the flying head in the air was a waist of frames. The idea is good, it still has its good points but the movie was really bad really really bad. Even Freddy got fingered was better.

Sean it at the theater a few time got the dvd. Might turn out to be a movie with dvd and only out done if a similar movie was in 3d are if possible relese in a 3d format, will be a classic for countless years.

Visually stunning! Kudos to Frank Miller who is single-handedly creating his own 'live-graphic-novel' genre (ala Sin City) I'd like to see a Batman film done like this. Another great film by Zach Snyder.

Like watching a movie version of an adult comic book. Somehow it felt a little short and I would have like to see the movie focused less on dialogue and more on the strategy of each of the battle scenes. That would have taken it to a 9 for me.

Amazing cinematography... Looks more like a comic book than it does a "real" movie, amazing and beautiful! I loved the storyline as well as the action! Gory and violent but not too gross... Very enjoyable.

If you like mythology/History then you'll love this movie. Lots of action and blood thirsty so if you don't like alot of blood and gore this is not a movie for you even though to tell a tale like this it has to be or it would not do it justice. Would like to see them do more movies like this one. Have had enough of dick meets jane and they live happily ever after or good cop bad cop movies. I loved this movie.

Myself being a greek and knowing the real story that happened... This movie was simply INCREDIBLE!!! For sure there wasn't huge monster in real life but still the story is almost the same.
