Zero for the dialogues in the car, and for not showing the scenery more than once during this loooooong ride. 7 for the two chicks. 2 on 10 for the boring fight, zero for the ending. Overall, 3 because half of it was shot in a car (boring), and the other half on the ring (boring).

This movie is very weak, all they do is talking. Banderas doesn't look like a boxer at all... it kills the fantasy.

Bad movie. There is absolutely no justification for wasting 2 hours telling a story that can be told in 2 minutes. It is sad that someone gave this movie the go-ahead when there are so many great stories that will never get told because of a lack of financing.

An amazing movie. The fight scenes looked real, and to boot, if this was a real fight, it woulda been the best fight in the world. The best line has to do with building bridges. You'll understand when you see it :)

What a horrible movie! First of all, the mane actors were really very bad. Both Antonio Banderas and Woody Haresson shouldn't play in a movie were you can talk alout. They should be in action movie, or something like that. Plus Antonio Banderas wasn't as a box player because you could see that he didn't alout of musles.

I saw the commercial of this movie the other day and I thought the look of the fight was great. When I went to see this movie I was a bit dissapointed. The beginning was very draggy. They are in a car on their way to Las Vegas talking about the fights that they lost. Then they make it and then there was the fight. The fight, I must say, was spectacular. It was the only thing keeping me from giving this movie a 2. There was some great close ups and nice punches that actually looked real. Its not worth to see in the theater but its very well worth renting. I recommend it.

To think I was looking forward to this movie since I first saw the promos for it a couple of months ago. Davidovitch must be in the running for worst performance of the year. She tries to be a strong woman and ends up only as an annoying, bossy, manipulative feminist. The script was stilted, choppy and didn't allow Banderas and Harrelson any range at all! But worst of all, it was just plain boring, never piquing my interest at any point...

That's the kinda movie you rent on a saturday night when even the hockey game's over... Woody is always one of my favorite, but he never seems to get the really good parts (exept for that movie about the Hustler guy). Ok, but the girl in this flick is such a pain...
