I can't say I was overly impressed at all by this remake. It played out as I pretty much expected it to. A blind girl regains the sight she lost by accident as a child and her world is suddenly turned into a living nightmare. She is challenged to confront her fears and she discovers something astonishing about herself and the life of someone else. Mildly entertaining but only worth renting at best.

It was a nice adaptation from the original asian film. It is worth seeing, however if you have the original at your local video store I suggest you see that one first.

I like a good thriller - this movie in particular touched on what I would class as a horror (devilish disgust with some surprises and a few jumps) Jessica Alba plays a descent role of an innocent blind woman seeing the world for the first time through transplanted eyes, however the hot factor surpasses the acting skill. As the movie progresses you'd expect to have Alba undergoing some sort of psycho-analysis, and nobody ever really questions her sanity. The jumpy scenes were well done, sitting through the film I thought I could predict what would happen but I found these scenes were well constructed and innovative... I jumped. Special effects were well done although very fictitious, but can be expected for this style. All in all I'd give it a 7.2/10, and encourage a big screen viewing in the cheap theatre, simply for the jump factor. If your looking for "The Omen" go elsewhere.

Lets face it, Miss Alba is stunning to watch. I got a thrill out of watching her not seeing me, ok? Fine. Movie good. Typical huge climax, saw it coming, but still well done. She's so damn good-looking!!

Some scenes made me jump, Jessica Alba is a very good actress very versatile in her performances. Liked the movie would recommend to anyone who likes paranormal, thriller, ect.

I'm a fourteen year old male. And that was the worst movie I've ever seen they haven't made 1 good movie since the exorcist this movie was corny predictable waste of money and it kept going on and on a one point for no reason WORST MOVIE i wouldn't even rent it if I had a choice.

This was an okay movie but the story line sucked. I felt like the only thing that was making the movie interesting was the special effects. But it does have a pretty good scare in it so if u don't care about the story and you want special effects, go see it.

It was a really unexpecting movie that made you picture that you were really in the movie! The only disappointment was there was in the shower scene there was minimum exposure but oh well you can't have it all.

This is a very well done film. It’s considered a horror movie, but I didn’t find that to be the case. I have a difficult time watching horror films, but I actually enjoyed this movie. There are only a few parts that gave me the creeps but nothing too serious. The beginning was really slow, but after about the first 45 minutes things finally started to pick up pace. The other thing that was great about this movie was that you never knew what was going to happen next. Everything that happened didn’t seem to make sense, but in the final 20 minutes everything came together, and left a really good impression on the general audience. I think this is an incredible success. It’s a good storyline that makes sense. It will give you the creeps at the right moments, and keep you guessing but it doesn’t cause any serious scare trauma which was good. The cast was amazing as well. Well done in general and I would still give it a two thumbs up.

It wasn't a good movie... but it wasn't bad... some of the parts made me jump... Most of the parts were crappy though... no offense... Jessica Alba could have done much better though... If you want a 2 day scare... then watch it.

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. I initially was not expecting much from it, but it turned out to be pretty scary. I admit to jumping from my seat a couple of times. Not much on plot, but good for a nice scare.
