Not a bad movie at all. I had really low expectations going in because I thought it was just another ugly duckling type film... but I was taken by surprise to find that the story was somewhat cute and entertaining. The movie was well cast and it all played out nicely.

Really good movie. There is no way it could have been done better. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The cast was amazing. Catherine O'Hara was absolutely hilarious as Jessica. Christina Ricci, played an amazing Penelope. Reese Witherspoon was the perfect sidekick. James McAvoy, added all the spunk and emotion needed. He gave a heart-warming performance and there is no way he could ever be replaced. The story line was incredible. It's the perfect movie to cheer anyone up, and it definitely deserves a two-thumbs up, and is worth investing in.

Amazing, James McAvory is so great, so cute! Who would have thought Mr. Tumnous looked like that without the goat legs!!! Reese and Chistina are wonderful! Definitely go see this movie!

Definitely a chick flick but amusing enough that a guy can sit through it and not feel like he being punished. Girls will love it.

Oddly enough, the movie turned out to be more of a romance than a comedy. I personally loved it, but was left wanting more I guess you could say in a really weird way. I felt like it was just well... missing something. But any--who, awesome movie a must see for all (James McAvoy was amazingly hot and awesome as usual!! XD)

I just went to see that movie. I thought it was cute, and I really loved the atmosphere and settings but this movie doesn't need to be seen in theatre. I advise it to be rented. It was ok, it could of had more but still enjoyable.

Well, not a bad movie, kind of cute if you like this sort of thing. I usually see these types of movies when I win premiere tickets otherwise I would never pay to see fluff like this. I'm a guy baby and I'll take a good action or horror movie anytime over these ridiculous chick flicks.

I was a little disappointed with this movie. The plot was too simple and too predictable. There was a lack of character development and I felt that the movie was a little too short. Although, I'd have to admit that the setting is pretty, especially Penelope's bedroom.

I love James so I cant really rate it low, but it is a bit different. I just wish James had more shots.

Penelope is a refreshing and beautiful movie with a magical atmosphere as well as memorable lessons. And I can't stop jaw dropping every time I see screens with James McAvoy's zoomed face!

The premise was great and could have worked. However, the did not develop the James McAvoy character at all and left me confused and frustrated. Had they worked on his character, this movie c |
