I laughed out loud, I smiled for about an hour, I cried once or twice, and I felt like signing the entire time. It's a really good movie, with great actors, a little craziness (think Moulin Rouge but 60s style), and a fine juxtaposition of carefree youth (dancing, singing, imagination, art, love) with crushing oppression (Vietnam, racism, police brutality) The constant Beatles songs fit really well with whatever's going on in the story at the time while the singing voices (all from the cast) are quite good. Evan Rachel-Woods sounds light but with good range and Jim Sturgess sounds like a slightly more soulful version of Ewan MacGregor. All in all, worth seeing, especially if you're familiar with a lot of Beatles songs and are young at heart.
