User's review

Marina Hands as Constance and Jean-Louis Coulloc'h as Parkin are an exquisite pair. Body and mind come together as one and a subtly primal, yet spiritual and transforming passion ensues. The final scene is redemptive and deeply moving. It really was a charming film. No wonder it won the coveted Cesar Award for Best Film in 2007. Take someone with whom you long for tenderness to flow. Your after-film coffee and dessert will dwindle into dawn.
