I think for many, including myself the story hits a familiar chord in some form or another. I enjoyed the willingness to renounce a worldly life and seek the truth. His way may have seemed foolish and naive, but we can only follow what is true to us. What is truly foolish is never daring to seek and allow ourselves to be duped by distraction. I had to laugh at all the comments about there being a lack of mosquitos and black flies... I too thought about that! :) Overall, excellent writing and directing by Penn and fantastic performances by all the cast!
