Really good. The dude playing Deforest Kelly's Doctor McCoy deserves a medal. Everyone acquits themselves admirably. I could have done without Kirk's childhood. The appearance of one of the great originals, creator of perhaps the greatest TV character of all time, brought a feeling of continuity to it. I left the theatre happy. Oh, and the actress playing Uhura downshifted from sympathy to lust in one kiss, the hottest screen kiss in years. Daym~!
