Typical Johnny Depp movie - when you first see it you wonder whether you liked it or not. Then you find yourself watching it over and over, liking it more with each viewing.

The film, while occasionally gory (as one should expect from a movie about a headless horseman), is not terribly frightening, although it is suspenseful. I liked very much the gothic enviroment and both Depp and Ricci are convincing, and the art direction and production values give the village its harsh feel. Toward the end, once the secrets are revealed, the film does slow down; however, this stylistic horror film provides many tricks and even more treats.

OMG! This is my altime fav movie! It was sooo well done. Johnny Depp of course is my favorite actor. He is sooo amazing in this film, and in every film he does. 1000 thumbs up for Tim burton! :) I absolutly adore the soundtrack as well... thanks to Danny Elfman for this masterpiece! :)

Tim Burton, Danny Elfman, and Johnny Depp are geniuses. This story is very loosely based on the original classic, but the visuals are fantastic. Depp does an excellent job of almost mocking his character. Horror, humour, and artistry are combined to make a fantastically enjoyable film.

I really liked this movie! Depp was funny and really good at his part! I've seen it 5 times and I don't get bored with it. You have to pay a lot of attention to the movie to understand it, but it's still really good! GO SEE IT!!!

Sleepy Hollow... now that's one EXCELLENT film. It portrayed Washington Irving's book very well and having the handsome Johnny Depp was a MAJOR plus. This is one of my favorite movies, and it always will be! If you're not into the creepy settings and frightening tales, it may not be your movie... but I loved it and I'm sure many others will too!

An interesting telling of an old tale a la Tim Burton. Johnny Depp was good and of course, good to watch. The whole cast was great. Very gross. Don't eat first. Must say, despite my misgivings, I enjoyed it very much. Will wonders never cease.

Brilliantly made second film by my favourite team -Burton, Depp, and Elfman! This extraordinary second film made by the three together after 8 years since their original collaboration together (Edward Scissorhands) exceeds all expectations. One of my favourites!

It started off perfectly, just like the tales from when I was a kid. Then he got off the horse and so did the movie. I was really into it until then. I guess the people who are too young or just plain stupid would have enjoyed it for the special effects but they could have ended it a lot better than they did. Maybe the schedule wasn't long enough.
