User's review

Amusing, introspective, quirky, often funny, and sometimes sad. Freeman and Nicholson once more play the sort of men we've become accustomed to seeing them play (the former a sensible knowledgeable man, the latter a wise-cracking hard ass) Only their acting skills make this aspect of the film nice rather than annoying. Good enough cinematography, a surprising ending, and a pleasing yet light-hearted examination of the meaning of life.
