Well done. Emotionally the story-telling does a great job of keeping the old man's lifelong love affair with his wife central. Nice one. A little slow to get moving but once it was moving the action was pretty good. The 3D experience was ~okay~ because the glasses darken the screen image. All they have to do is brighten the lamp which oughta be easy to do (since Roger Ebert has pointed out that many or most theatres save money by dimming the projection bulbs) I found the Paradise Falls landscape got visually very boring as it was a lot of screen time devoted to not much of visual interest. But these are early days of 3D imaging so no points deducted.
