PLEASE STOP TEXTING DURING A MOVIE! I F IT'S THAT IMPORTANT STAY HOME! IF YOU'RE BORED BY THE MOVIE QUIETLY LEAVE! I can't understand people who complain a movie is too graphic for children... Why would anyone bring a child to an 18A movie anyways? Don't blame the movie for a parents or guardians bad decision... Too violent? Oh Too much nudity? Sigh Too many flashbacks? Nah Too long? Really Watchmen is not a movie like Ironman and if you are expecting that then you'll be dissapointed. The alternate reality of Watchmen, and in fact every character, is warped and perverted... as it should be. There really isn't a "good guy" or a "bad guy" like so many people need in a film. Everyone is a mixture of both. In one scene saving people in the next enjoying beating a gang to death. The flashbacks were well done and well needed to give some sense of the depth of the characters. Without them, the drive and understanding would have been totally lost. I wish there had of been more information on Night Owl and Archie though. I wish people would get over the juvenile attitude of seeing nudity in a movie, especially a man. I didn't feel any of the sex or nudity was gratuitous... it was there and happened because it needed to be, nothing more. I'm so glad it wasn't non-stop action. Just like the graphic novel it was so much more than a comic book story. An exceptional story and a excellent movie.
