Great partnering of Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry. Some very funny scenes. Good story.

I watched this one on the dish the other day, eagar to see Montreal in a movie actually playing Montreal, as opposed to masquerading as New York or Chicago or some other city. Other than that, I really didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised in a few ways. Matthew Perry was playing his usual goofy character, as a result of total lack of any acting ability whatsoever. But Bruce Willis is always good, Amanda Peet stole the screen in almost every scene she was in, and the plotline was just quirky enough to be entertaining. Innovative and fresh, I found this film to be more creative than most of what's currently out in the theatres. It didn't have that formula imprint of so many Hollywood films (I. E. Take the comedy formula off the shelf and cast it by Friday). I actually laughed out loud at a few moments. The movie did go wrong in a couple of places. Being a Montrealer, I noticed a few things that most viewers might have missed. For instance that their obsession with Mayonnaise on hamburgers, which is integral to the plot, isn't based on any reality that I know of as I have yet to find a Montreal restaurant that puts mayonnaise on burgers. Rosanna Arquette's French accent is even worse than mine, even though it's supposedly her character's first language. Matthew Perry's love scenes with Natasha Henstridge are so ridiculously unrealistic, even the noncynical will yawn. And the director seemed to have an obsession with pointing out Montreal landmarks, even if they had nothing to do with the plot. Those are small things in the grand context of the movie, though. If you liked movies such as The Big Hit, this is very similar. It's not meant to be taken very seriously, so the plot turns are more for absurdity's sake than for any kind of buildup of suspense. Still, if you're looking for some lighter entertainment, it's a good choice.

The comedy was good, not great but quite good. Bruce Willis is very good but then again this role was not a strech for him. Matthew Perry is ok but when you consider his "Friends" co-stars movies he was great.

For those of you who have given this movie a poor rating, 1 question. What are you mental? Go see it, no don't ask any question just go, go now. That's right run along, you'll see it you'll like it or you won't.

Slow at first. Not as funny as I hoped, it was more "Friends" type humor. The ending was pretty good. It was alright.

Good movie, a litle too predictable.

To bad that they got so many good actors for a movie that lacked substance and a "GOOD STORY".

The worst movie I've seen since Blair Witch Project. Cheap plot. Bad cinematography.

This was a good one... Not many are worth the money. Matthew Perry was the idiot Changler and Bruse Willis was the "funny" guy. Worth the money.

It makes a good rental - no need to see it on the "BIG" screen. Pretty good overall.

Perry's cute charms and Willis' smirk couldn't quite save it. A strange mixture of slapstick and black humour that doesn't quite work. Rosanna Arquette is just *awful* in acting and accent. The murder of a cop and a loyal friend don't play to the humour quotient at all. Some laughable moments. Good for renting.

This film had its moments, but it wasn't hilarious by any account. Mathew Perry was not funny, it felt like I was watching an episode of Friends. His jokes got little reaction from me as well as the rest of the audience. Bruce Willis had a good role but it is not Willis at his best. The only part I really enjoyed about this movie was how they incorporated the beautiful scenery of Montreal and Niagara Falls. Other than that I believe this would be a good rental.

I loved this movie! It was hilarious! Ok, I'll admit, Matt Perry was basically Chandler all over again, but he was still *really* funny! It's a great date movie (trust me on that one guys!).

Very good movie, Matthew Perry is very good... and plays a role similar to what we're used to see when watching the TV show "Friends". Bruce Willis is good as the "bad guy". Not too violent... and very funny. Don't miss it!!!

This movie was hilarious. I think that Matt Perry did an amazing job and I will never become tired of his sarcastic sense of humour. I also think Bruce Willis did a great job of once again intimidating almost everyone who comes near him. There were many choices that needed to be made in this film and I think that for the most part the right ones were made. This once again proves that friendship can outlast pretty much anything you come accross.

This movie was only worth the $5.00 I spent on cheap Tuesday. It was good for a laugh or two, but the plot is a tired one. Matthew Perry was funny, but he can only play the "witty" character as he does on Friends. Bruce Willis, in my opinion, is always weak.

A feel good movie that has a good mix of comedy, black humour and a developing plot that keeps one`s attention. I really enjoyed the movie and the characters.

Loved it. Extremely funny and entertaining. I especially loved the way they made fun of french Canadian women. Film was shot entirely in Montreal to top it off.
