Tkaronto has relevance in our multicultural society as 1st generation Canadians from various backgrounds will be able to connect with the struggles of identity that Ray and Jolene experience. The acting seems unscripted and natural, and is very believable.

This was an absolutely terrific movie. The dialogue was so natural and real that it drew me in and kept me in the story.

It's all about the struggle for identity. This film's focus is on Aboriginal peoples in an urban setting. But it could be about anyone who is not living the "traditional lifelstyle" or who is out of their traditional territory. It's moving for the millions of us in that situation.
