Say what you want, but this movie is a classic- did anyone catch the parts that are alluded to in modern movies? It's such a cliche and it makes fun of itself for being a cliche! Have a sense of humor, sit back, and enjoy!

I thought beyond the valley of the dolls was one of the best movies io have ever seen, yah it was weird but I mean what other movie has such a whimsical, creative almost atristic view on the 60's... the actors are fresh faced and bright eyed and not to mention its phycaldellic soundtrack...

Sexplotation at it's juicy, sinfully amusing best. Anyone feel the titillation? Peyote, trans and yes, lesbos! Snappy, crisp editing makes for a great show out of horrible (voluptuously pinup) actors. Check it out, don't be dork! Too bad we can't see it widescreen except in theaters (which never play it!) in the US. D@mn the pan and scan. ENJOY IT IF YOU CAN!

Well, my wife and I just watched Beyond... and what a blathering, useless, pathetic, horrible, hillarious, comical, not good movie it was! Poor Roger Ebert. If this is the sort of thing that he thinks about, what right does he have to pan any movie? And by the way, wasn't that Judith Light who got the gun in the mouth? She probably temporarily changed her name due to the content of the "film".

Uuuummmm... I think one needs to be completely high, or from the era where you could have appreciated this film. I caught it on the Showcase channel the other night and just had to watch. What a bizzare movie, with a horrific ending! From the feel the movie started with, I had no idea it would end the way it did. The movie was pretty good for being filmed in 1970, but the ending totally turned me off recommending it to anyone!
