This is a masterpiece of a film. For anyone who enjoys a romantic drama frought with real-life dilemmas, it's impeccably and believably acted with Viggo Mortensen as "the blouse man" before he got swept away by the Lord of the Rings. Some of the best romantic (read "hot") scenes you can imagine without being graphic... Dustin Hoffman produced this movie, and it has his subtle touch throughout.
