I have seen all the films that Michelle Rodriguez has been in and Girlfight as got to be one of her best performances. The film looked like a very low budget film but the acting (and fighting) was just great. Michelle has put some very good performances in her latest films but this has got to be her best.

This is a phenominal movie. The ending is rushed, but any fault in the film is made up for by the performance of Michelle Rodriguez, truly the most talented actress to arrive in years.

What an excellent movie! NO special effects just raw acting. You can really feel the electricity between Michelle and Santiago. I definetly recommend it!

One of the best movies I've seen all year. It had great acting, lots of fighting, and a real, honest-to-god plot! To sum up: lame title, cool movie.

This movie was horrible! The first hour of the movie was very good, the 2nd hour just got so boring. The acting was ok, however there was no real plot. Wait for the movie to come out on video. It is not worth the $7 I spent to see it.

This is definitly one of the best movies to come out this year! The film takes a new, and smart, approach at viewing female boxers in a male dominated industry. The director avoids all the typical cliches that come with sports/romance films. Instead, she weaves a tale that graps the viewer from the very first scene, and holds them up to its ambiguous ending. The acting in the film is fantastic, all the actors hit the right note. Especially Michelle Rodriguez, whose menacing performance single handly carrys the film, and Paul Calderon (Pulp Fiction, Four Rooms) as her father. This is a film not to be missed.

Good movie. It's not just about a girl that becomes a boxer, it is sincerely a movie thematically that deals with confrontation and in the case of this character it succeeds in an exemplary way. Michelle Rodriguez deserves Oscar nominations she gave a stellar performance. I was scared of her.
