Great movie, worth seeing even if you're not czech. Everyone should know a piece of history! Polivka, the main actor is excellent!

In abnormal times, normal people do abnormal things. A stunning look at life during Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia during WWII. The highlights: hands down would be the excellent character development and equally great acting. There was nothing poor about the movie to speak of. Definitely! A strong recommendation for a mature audience. Understanding Czech is a definite bonus, but don't let that stop you from not seeing it.
