Enjoyed every minute - especially the French language spoken the way I was raised to speak it. Very funny and well-done!!

Fantastic tale life in years gone by set in a small quebec village. This is a story of great humanity, artfully crafted, a must see for all french speakers. This film needs to be translated into english so that the rest of the world can have a chance to see this treasure.

Unusual movie, it is not always easy to follow the story but The actors' play is excellent and the scenery is beautiful. I enjoyed the movie.

I just loved that movie. It is as good as a Fellini's. If you go to see it having in mind that this is a fairy tale, you will be charmed by the characters, the photography and the story itself. You have to see it with the eyes of a child. I lived a wonderful and a touching experience.

I would have liked to like this movie, but it turned out horrible. The main actor was horrible, for I while I thought it was a joke. Looked like a caricatural interpretation of a disabled person. I just couldn't stop staring at my watch for the entire movie.

The Movie is very well done. A bit too long but it keeps you awake the whole time+) I love the ending where all the characters reappear again. I wouldn't watch it second time but would advice to see it once.

This is a Quebec fable that is rather technically well done in terms of CGI effects, photography, etc. However, the story and the overall execution are lukrwarm. I want to be swapped away, to forget about our modern time and be drown in the old time fantasy folklore - but wound up checking my clock continuously half way through the 2 hour flick. The casting of Bobine, the village fool could have been more imaginative...
