Don't watch this film expecting to see "Swingers. " If you can keep a relatively clean slate regarding Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn's previous opus, then you'll enjoying this movie for what it truly tries to be: unpretentious, character-driven, and subtly energetic. If you can't get around Mikey and Trent, however, do take note of P. Diddy's stellar acting début--I smell Oscar. This film will carve out its intended audience on its own, fear not. Jon Favreau scores again, but on a different level. Well done.

I'm totally shocked by the uber-negative comments about this movie. It was like watching a Woody Allen movie that I could actually relate to. (ie. without the nagging feeling that I would find it funnier if I were 20 years older. ) Pop culture references abound and I laughed uncontrollably (read: Screeched) during a few scenes. I rewatched Swingers the following night and found it slow and static in comparison. Vince Vaughn is at his best - I'm measuring by the fact that as an universally attractive man he managed to render himself completely unattractive by virtue of his behaviour in this movie. Classic.

Just as good as "Swingers". "T" is back with Mikey and they bust out a new barrage of lines; "Why don't you ask the Red Dragon over here", "We need a gun", "I've never seen a purple farm before. " etcetera. It actually has more "lines" than Swingers. I'm going to see it again tonight.

Awsome movie. Don't bother with the few negative comments. If you loved Swingers, you'll love this. There's no dazzling action or imagery. This is a character based film and you'll love and hate these characters. Well written and well made. I laughed my butt off.

I thought this movie was excellent. Clever, funny, entertaining. Favreau is an excellent writer/ director. Combines pathos and humour well. I honestly thought I was going to throttle Vince Vaughn by the end of the movie. I especially loved the scene with the gun. I recommend this movie and cannot understand the few negative reviews submitted.

This movie was hilarious! Especially Vince's character. A nicely written dark comedy/neo-ganster flick by Jon Favreau.

Being a huge fan of "Swingers" I supose I was setting my self up for huge disappointment by comparing the two. Vince Vaughn is so hopelessly dumb in this film I wanted to leave about half way through. This film unfortunatly did not get any better as it progressed and the sad acting was offsett again and again by a bland story that went nowhere. I was honestly hoping to enjoy this film alot more than I did, but was very sadly let down. One thing I supose we can learn from this is that you cannot recreate an original style just by using the same actors. Saddly, two thumbs down.

Very good movie. A must see if you like crime stories. Vaughn and Favreau have excellent chemistry and movie is extremely funny. If you like Favreau`s first movie "Swingers" then you will definitely like "Made". This is a character movie and if you want to see a movie where you get involved with and care for the people in the story then I highly recommend this movie.

I liked this movie - it was entertaining, funny, and well written. If not for Vince Vaughn it could have come up short, but with his comedic and aggressive behaviour toward anyone and everyone, it ended up surpassing my expectations. Fauvreau is key as well, they offset each other perfectly, as he plays another quiet but thoughtful role. Puff Daddy, sorry P. Diddy, adds a little mainstream culture - and you know you're watching a light movie when you see him take on a role as a classy gangster. Good imagery at some points throughout the movie, Fauvreau makes a good attempt at originality, noticeably a few scenes during his hazy, exhausted, paranoid spell. The reason to go though, is to see Vince act more antogonizing than he did in Swingers, and ad-lib some crazy stuff. "Did you just let Screech in the club? "

Good flick. Vince plays a hotheaded jerk perfectly and Favreau writes another great script.
