Thought it was going to be better. Weak plot development. Could have been a 'Seven' type movie but wasn't.

Very shocking movie that opened my eyes to the kinds of thing that exist out in the world. Great movie.

This theme of this movie was extremely disturbing and really made me wonder if such things exist in this world. Of course it is naive of me to think they don't, but I was blown away with this movie. Joaquin Phoenix was very memorable and Nicolas Cage is always great. Over all I was glued to the set watching 8 mm.

Intriging and captivating. Kept me on the edge of my seat at times which is a hard thing to do.

Where is the true about this film? I mean, for food you can learn more about specific culture; it is the same thing with movies. For American people the most important thing is violence and lost human values. Some times the real word is worst; we can see some pics from Irak about American soldiers. The story is not new, and the play is fake.
