This is a very good love story between a 12 year old boy and girl, only she happens to be a little... unusual. This is not a horror movie and the scares, such as they are, are quite tame. It's just one of those well-acted, well-directed European movies that show up how FAKE human behavior is on the screen most of the time in Hollywood junk. Highly recommended for jaded North-American film-goers.
