I have seen this movie 3 times starring Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins. Absolutely brilliant, adventurous and touching plot. The nature scenes are beautiful, and music just carries you away... This movie is about passion and cruelty, about human weaknesses and strengths, duty and ultimate happiness...

The Bounty is my favorite movie, I really don't even know why, except for the fact, every time I watch it I am truly captivated by it's story. To know this is true and there are actual decendants of the mutineers and their Tahitian women still alive today, is amazing! I have read lot's of books on the subject, checked out web-sites about Pitcairn Island, and it never bores me. I think this is one of the most tragic and romantic stories of all time.

It was very good, but since they showed the womens boobs it was to much sex to be able to show my kids. So I was disappointed Mel Gibson would be in a movie with so much nudity. Other then that I thought the movie was great. But I would stick with the old version because of that part. Great movie if I could have an edited version I would buy it.

I think the bounty is maybe the best adaptation of this wonderful story. The movie is excellent. I couldn't find the full soundtrack to this film. There is a greatest hits tape of vangelis that has like the closing title theme and opening and so forth, but not the soundtrack in its entirety. I wish they would release the full soundtrack someday.

I also loved the movie, great acting, all my favorite actors under one mast. I just happened to catch it one day on TV, and I loved it. It was an extremely powerful film and I could watch it again and again.

I finally saw the movie the whole way through and I have to say, "I think its Mel Gibsons best work ever! ". The cast was excellent! The soundtrack is excellent. Vangelis never makes a bad soundtrack. He brings out the emotion & intensity of a movie! Enough with my Babbling; I could go on forever... this movie gets an "A+".
