Excellent movie. It offers an unusual glance at the modern japanese culture, while developing the characters very strongly. If you appreciate something different this movie is a must.

lrozenszain@ - age: 50+ Very foreign film: very rich characters, plenty of coincidence and catharsis, fantastic acting, plus subtle and meaningful direction. I loved it. Dramatic exposé of marriage and relationships, parenting, growth, renewal, that never-ending question of balance between responsiblity and freedom.
