I think the beggining of the movie is sad but the rest of it is funny and sad.

Good movie for the whole family, saw it when I was six then again like last week, sad during some parts.

When I think what one of my favourite movies are, I always think of "Fly Away Home". Based on the inspiring true story of a girl and her geese, "Fly Away Home" begins when Amy, a teenager is involved in a car accident and must fly from her New Zealand home to Canada with her dad when her mother passes away. Amy is hopelessly lost, as she struggles to deal with her mother's death and the scar the accident left in her heart. But when Amy finds some abandoned goose-eggs in a patch of destroyed wetland, Amy finally seems to open up as she flourishes again under the affection of her geese. Her journey begins when Amy almost single-handedly guides her geese to the United States during the winter."Fly Away Home" is a wonderful story of courage, love and rediscovery which should strike a chord with everyone!
