Worse film I've seen, felt very dissappointed there was no story line to this movie apart from a mad man trying to lose his Mary to some weird girl who clearly needs to take drugs because of her weird parents, I would rather watch my nextdoor neighbour paint her fence. 0.25/10 that's my rating.

This was an awesome movie. Very funny and great storyline. It was a little inappropriate for me (I'm 11), but I recommend it to anyone who loves romance-comedies.

I just have to say don't go into this movie thinking it is going to be exactly like Superbad just because they have the same director. If you do, you will be disappointed, not because it's bad, but because it isnt Superbad. It's the same director. Not the same wirters. I really like it. It made me feel happy.

I Love this movie! It was amazing... It was funny but that wasn't it... I don't know what it was to make that movie so great but it was. I Love Jesse Eisenberg... He is amazing and a sexy beast ;)

I'm not sure why this movie has such a low rating. I thought it was brilliant, and am considering seeing it in theatres a second time. It made me laugh, it made me tear up, and it wasn't boring. Ryan Reynold's character was a little bit predictable, but nothing else really was.

I was expecting a low brow movie when I went to it. It had the set up for it, made by the makers of Superbad, takes place at amusement park in the 80s. But in fact its an intellectual comedy drama. The movie for sure has its share of funny scenes and is worth watching, just dont expect something crude like american pie.

Well, I can't say much since this one actually put both me and my friend to sleep (although, that says something right there) Two of my friends loved it, but myself and the other were bored out of our minds. Couldn't wait for the ending. It has it's "funny" little moments, but not enough for me. What more is there to say, appeals to some but not others. Seen better.

Fantastic movie! Don't go in expecting pure comedy, cause then you will leave feeling disappointed. It has fantastic comediac moments and is very well acted by everyone involved.

This movie is not meant to be a comedy so I wish everyone would stop comparing it to Superbad or saying it is not funny. It is a drama, and a very good one at that. I really liked the movie - good characters, good writing, great soundtrack.

The story was original, the acting of Kristen was well done. The movie had a very smooth rythme, great 80's music, and it just makes you remember of summer vacation, having the lame job, falling in love, having fun with your friends... It's a cool movie.

I was expecting a comedy but got a teen drama. The funny moments were shown in the trailers and the main character did not really stand out. The funniest members of the cast are Bill Hader and Kristin Wiig. A so-so.

Very boring. I got up to walk around a few times. Not funny either. I was surprised to hear it was a comedy. Stupid story line. Not much of an 80s movie, I grew up in the 80s and didn't recognize hardly any of the tracks. Go at your own risk to this movie!!!

I believe this movie to be about relationships and although set in 80's which I believe weird, what's so different about 80's as apposed to 00's. I believe it's worth seeing because I think Kristen Stewart is an amazing young actress that in 40 years will be considered the next Meryl Streep, somone who plays deep and controversal thinking woman. Keep up the great work Kristen.

This movie was terrible. Throughout the first half of the movie I felt bad for the main character because he is a pathetic loser that can't even talk without sounding whiny. Then the rest of the movie I felt bad for myself and the time wasted watching this concoction of jokes with bad timing and characters that you care nothing about banging into each other in an effort to try and carry a non-existent storyline with some useless religious rhetoric thrown in for good measure.

It was blahh, I kinda expected it to be really funny, because I love the guy from the office. And his part was funny. But the movie was just so so. I would say that it's not worth the money for the theatre. Rent it, it's probably a good renter. Also I hate kirsten stweart, but I guess I wasnt expecting much from her. She was crappy in Twilight, so she'll prob be crappy in this movie, which she was.

This movie was great! It was both very funny and sad at the same time. It was suprisingly dark and parts of it were very poignant. Overall it was very sweet, but still retained enough funny to break this up and make it more interesting. I loved it and would highly recommend it :)

The marketing for this movie is misleading. If you can get over the fact that this movie is not a light, laugh a minute jokefest in the vein of Superbad then you'll enjoy it for what it was meant to be. That is a sweet, poignant story of young love and trying to find your place in the world. There are some laugh out loud moments for sure but the movie's main goal is to focus on the ups and downs of the relationship between nice guy James & troubled Em and their contrasting views on love and sex. Nothing particularly new happens in this movie but the acting is great and the plot moves along smoothly to a satisfying and uplifting end.

Adventureland is a great summer movie. It is in the same category as the new "indie" movies turned corporate such as juno and little miss sunshine. It definitely isn't a masterpiece but it is entertaining and offers a fun nostalgic look at the 80s along with a great soundtrack including the velvet underground, the replacements, and hüsker dü. Don't expect a Superbad type comedy. Adventureland has some Superbad moments but doesn't completely rely on the crass jokes to make it work. At the very least this film will make you excited for summer.

This movie is hilarious! I watched this movie after a stressful day at work and it eased some of the tension. I couldn't stop laughing at some of the scenes. Definitely a movie worth watching to lighten up your mood.

I had the impression these kids in the movie graduated recently from high school and GOING to college. Maybe I'm wrong. I thought the movie was fun, romantic. I liked The characters in it like Elm and James. I recomend it.
