I wanted to give this a better score but the script is a let-down. Ben Foster works hard but there is not enough to hang his trademark psychic torment on. They young man who told Dennis Quaid about the pandorum syndrome would be a role better suited to Foster's talents. I can sense the pressure the story wants his character to suffer under, how he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders but the script is not well thought thru, and if it ain't on the page, it ain't on the screen. Dennis Quaid's role - not him, but the part - is a storytelling crash and burn.
