I went into this movie not knowing what the story was about and having not seen a trailer. All I knew was that it was a horror movie. What a treat!! If you love the SAW movies, especially the promise of Saw 1, then The Collector has something in store for you. This movie is low budget, edgy and packed with way more gore than a typical Saw movie. Once the story gets going (15-20 minutes), things get twisted and quite interesting. If you've been disappointed by the Saw movies lacking the edge and true gore they always promise, then give The Collector a try... you won't regret it! 8/10, great movie, don't miss it if you love twisted horror flicks that actually show you blood!

Best movie of the summer hands down. Very reminiscent of saw 1 and saw 2. I don't know why it hasn't come to Montreal yet though?
