No matter what you say about the "person" MJ was, you can not say that he was a truly unbelievable performer. The concert would have been amazing to see. The world lost a great artist.

A fabulous must see movie. It was like being at the concert that 'never was', even better. After seeing this movie I realize that had MJ lived and completed his concert tour, it would have gone down in history as the best concert tour ever, fabulous movie. This man was a musical genius. Don't miss it.

It truly shows the genius of M. J. and it's unbelievable talent in everything. Fred Astaire called him "the greatest dancer the world ever had" and he was right. I was also struck by his gentle voice and how he never raised it and by the praises and love that the crew had for him. I hope his kids get to see this since the film was dedicated to them.

I'm even sadder now that Michael is gone after seeing this movie. I watched him grow up and was devastated when he died. Thriller remains the only album that allows you to become immersed in the music. As the movie progressed, I became completely engrossed in only Michael! He was mezmerizing and you really didn't even notice the incredible backup dancers. After every song, another wave of regret passed at what could have been. Great movie and glad I got to see the hard-working genius behind the songs.

This movie portrays the genius that is Michael Jackson. I thought it was very well put together, too. When I left the theatre I was full of admiration for the artist and terribly sad for the premature loss. It's definitely the best film I have seen this year.

Brilliant Jackson. A great human being with grace and style. A terriffic mentor, tolerant and kind. An artist who gives unselfishly and stands high above Presley, The Beatles, Sinatra etal. The man is talented, very very hard working and a gift that we have lost. Thank you Michael. I never was a fan; no reason, just not a fan. Now I am and I'm so glad I saw you doing what a normal person does not see of stage. You are loved.

I finally got a chance to watch the film "This is it". Watching Michael Jackson, a true master of his craft, behind the scenes was a real treat. The show would have been spectacular combining elements of dance, music, film, amazing lighting and stage, and... Great dance routines and wonderful music shone through the film with references to war, to environment, to protest, and to indifference. Perhaps the loudest, clearest message was," they don't really care about us". A message that resonates well with the times and feelings of ordinary people everywhere. There was even a stronger message than all of these, perhaps an unintentional message, more of an inherent one, that of work, good old-fashioned, hard work. It was incredible to see Jackson to watch for the slightest changes of beat, tune, movement, light, stage, and just about anything. He was there all the time. This I knew from previous interviews about his work. People had said that Jackson would phone them at 6:00 am to ask for a minute change in a small part of a song or the other. And that is why I recommend this film to teenagers who spend hours and hours in malls looking for outfits resembling those of the Pop stars. The message bursting out of the film was work, and how much of it was involved where Jackson was concerned. His music and his dance were in top shape (he was fifty years old) That could not have come to him via dressing one way or the other or acquiring one life style versus the other. He worked for these, and he worked very hard. He was a professional to the extreme. I often look at teenagers so anxious to look like a Pop star not really knowing what is involved beyond the flashy images and all the media buzz. Unfortunately, there is hardly anything in the media about the amount of work involved in these shows. The importance of training, determination, and hard work is rarely brought up. Therefore, children and teenagers are left with the only thing they know of the person they are trying to imitate, the final mask at a very long hard road. I knew Michael Jackson was going to have a performance in London. And I had decided that I wanted to see his performance live. That would have been my first experience of his live performance. It is a pity it never happened. Watching the rehearsals I regret that even more. To watch him preparing for his performance was quite an experience. To watch a master and to marvel at human genius and determination. Regardless of all the buzz around his personal life, Michael Jackson was a genius at what he did, and as such, he is best to be watched at his craft. That is what I did when watching "This is it". I am still in awe.

Alot more entertaining than what I expected. His amazing talent really shows though, even when he gets annoyed he does so in such a polite manner. He really is so in tune with everything that's around him. This show would have been better than anything that came before.

Never realized the creative genus of MJ. Hard working, serious about what he did. The crew and dancers were amzingly gifted as well. So sad that he's gone. He was misunderstood and eventually the world will realize that instead of constant criticism. The movie was better than I thought it would be. It was put together very well!

He was ready to perform for us. He had an amazing bunch of people working with him and he had all his moves down. Want to hear him sing again? His voice? Go see this movie. Some songs I really wanted to hear were not featured, so I hope there is a sequel. I'd go see the other songs rehearsed.

Brilliant! His creative ideas tore his career, he personified passion in music, his talent spoke loudly in this unusual presentation. Not his biography, but what was to come in the future in his preparation for the London show. Remarkable! MJ left his trace forever!

The BEST movie I've seen yet this year. I like MJs' music, but not a superfan. After seeing this movie/documentry I now like him more than ever. Put his personal life aside for a moment (which I had to do) and you'll see how gifted and talented he was. I left the theatre wanting to see more. I would definitely see this movie again. Thank you Michael and Kenny! A must see for every age... don't miss it - a fan or not.

An excellent documentary that depicts MJ's preparation for his final tour. An emotional tribute to the popstar that shows Michael Jackson as an expert performer. While many people may label him "Wacko Jacko", there is no denying his brilliant song repertoire and his outstanding talent choreographing his concerts. The 3D "Thriller" concert montage is well worth the price of admission!

THIS IS IT is rare glimpse inside the surreal world of superstardom. This documentary on the final days and rehearshal of Jackson's ill fated comeback provides his fans & music lovers with a priviledged insight into Jackson's artifical environment of everyday life. Sadly, we get to view how individuals such as Kenny Ortega leech onto the Jackson gravy train and exploit a person for financial glory. Mr. Ortega comes across as a non genuine individual milking Jackson while never providing him with an honest feedback on the quality of his performances. Ortega clearly fears loosing a position of ultimate control and it comes across clearly in this film. Jackson is somewhat below the standards of his usual performance level yet he remains captivating when trying to voice his artistic vision to the vultures that surrounds him. The film will leave you with a sad sense that fortune corrupts the world and individuals rarely will go out on a limb and rock the boat to intervene and save a life in distress. The closing sequences when Jackson does express his feelings to political leaders on the current state of the world is haunting. The overall staging is impressive & the remake of "Thriller" will surprise and surpass your wildest expectations. Fan or not - this is worth the price of admission to be seen on a large screen.

I love you Michael.

Not a true representation oh who he was. Other than being a musican. They call him a "genius" in this movie. Nothing of his past was brought up. He was glorifed and I honestly dont think he deserves to be put on a pedistal based on his history.

The dancers are all the cream of the crop, but Jackson still manages to outshine them even at 50, moving like a man possessed by the spirit of his former self. Seeing the level of professionalism, and the hands- on approach that he took with every aspect of the production, and the magnitude of wonder that fueled him creatively will remind the whole world why we fell in love with Michael in the first place.
