Particularly enjoyable if you went to parochial school in the 1960s as a young child; even more so if you happen to be of Irish descent.

Love it. Wonderful, fantastic, visceral, really a great movie with a young but pretty much competent and charm actor mas well.

I enjoyed this movie very much. Of course, I was quite taken by the character of little Liam, he is charming. It is a sombre movie, in the subject and in the photography, with a difficult but always actual subject of the closing of a factory and many people out of jobs. I thought it was very well played. And the ending was shocking, I was not expecting that at all. On the whole, a very good movie.
