I saw it in a film class, where I liked it the first time; then, I did a report on it, and liked it even more! There are many hidden meanings and parallels, very interesting and overall great film.

Wonderful feel good movie. Funny and sweet and unpretentious. It was nice to see a simple, housewife and mother, realize that she has needs and deserves happiness also. It seems that all she was, was a doormat at home. With her new life she became a person not just a cook and housekeeper. For the first time in a long time she has friends and she has fun. And she deserves it!!

A lovely "feel-good" movie, truly enjoyable, a spoonful of sweet medicine for these stressful days... Good acting, good direction, romantic story that is funny and at the same time has deep meaning about the chances one may take in life... And there is VENICE as a bonus! BRAVO!!!

A simple movie, yet it makes us think about life and the real joy that is just a decision step from us!

This is one of those movies that helps you forget your problems. The main caracter is forgotten by her family in a bus terminal. She then decides to let her life unfold... Atlast! You can sense that she is finally starting to enjoy herself. Maybe I would like something like this to happen to me? ... Enjoyable film, if you don't mind reading your way though it... or if you speak italiano!

It's a simple and ordinary story with deep and extraoridinory meaning. One sometimes must sacrifice his or her love to make the family stable and to keep the society balanced.
