I was amazed by the intense and stylish opening of this film, but Ang Lee seems to overuse some of the effects (ex. Split screen from DePalma) However, a well demonstrated conflicts between different characters turn this supposingly childish superhero movie to an intense drama. The action is enough to keep the audiences happy. Worth seeing although I expected Ang Lee could find a better balance between drama & action.
