Why is this classified as a Johnny Depp movie? It's a documentary. Nothing more, nothing less, but an excellent one at that. The true story is hilarious but at the same time the most depressing story about film-making you're ever likely to see. Terry Gilliam has a dream, but "acts of God" have other plans!

This is not a real film. In fact I guess we could call this documentary a 'Not Making Of'. In fact, you will find out why this film wasn't made. Luckily I had free tickets for this flick. This film is at best, a must for students in the cinema business. If you're expecting a real film, you must avoid this.

So full of misfortune and dashed hopes, LOST IN LA MANCHA is almost depressing. Then again, it has a spirit that very much matches that of its subject, Terry Gilliam, and his seemingly impossible quest to film DON QUIXOTE. Above all, I found the film to be fascinating on an informative level. Seeing Gilliam's film come apart taught me a lot about how films go together.

VERY GOOD DOCUMENTARY about the good, the bad, and the ugly of film making and the wicked mind of Director Gillam (known for Brazil, Monty Python, etc) Way above average film. There is an extremely!! Funny scene in the middle showing the Quixote'dness of Gillams' adventure.

This was by far the best documentary about a movie that I've seen in my life... all the bad lucks that are happening to the crew... it's horrifying and at the same time funny...
