If you've got a great sense of humour then you've gotta see this. It's one of the best black comedy's that I've seen. Nothing like the typical hollywood crap. It's an original and the actors did a fabulous job.

Really good movie. Simple story with no crazy special effects, but yet very interesting. It's good to see Americans portraying their army in a realistic manner... without all the patriotism. Very efficient story telling.

I love this movie. It is so far away from the typical Disney movies were everything seems to be perfect... It is wonderful that a least one time they show that there are bad guys out there that get away. And by the way, it is a terrific comedy.

Why is this movie named "Buffalo Soldiers"? Is this an indirect attempt to smear the name and legacy of the African American soldiers that fought so bravely for our country? It is disgraceful that a company like Disney, which is so deeply woven in fabric of American Society and Culture, would be so insensitve and thoughtless in using the name Buffalo Soldiers as the title of a movie like this. I strongly hope that you will reconsider what could be a very ugly mistake and rename this movie!

A definite "wait to rent the video" movie. I wouldn't have wanted to spend $13.00 to see it. There are much better movies out right now than this one.

Good movie! Great performance from Joaquin Phoenix. I don't know why under "genre" it says "war" since it's not. I guess I would call it a dark comedy. Some scenes are disturbing and even more so when they portray violence as something comedic. If you end up not watching this movie, don't feel too bad... unless dark comedies fall right in your ballpark.

Wow, lol I can't believe nobody has chosen to comment on this movie! Well I shall be the first... I actually did enjoy this movie. I thought Joaquin was excellent in it, but they could have chosen a prettier girl for him. I liked the irony in this movie and the characters shone through. It gives a great insight to what must have been happening after the war in those bases.

This is a really good movie. It is filled with great images and great acting. It does not seem to me like a typical three act hollywood script, but rather reminds me of those great winding 'seventies stories -- like "three days of the condor" or "the french connection." (not that the story line in any way resembles those classics.) you aleady have the plot outline above, so all I will say is that all the acting is really superior, that the satire is biting and that this is the type of film that will stay with you well after you have left the theatre. Pbf.
