User's review

The Gospel of John isn't a masterpiece because of it's filming. It is a masterpiece, because of the words. The words spoken in this movie are very powerful and carry so much meaning. The words in this movie have life -- eternal life. This movie really brings the Gospel of John to life. John's account of Jesus' life is not a chronological account. It is in defense of all the heresies that were popping up near the end of the first century. John was in the inner circle of Jesus' disciples and lived with Jesus for 3 years. John was a first hand eyewitness to the events during Jesus' life on earth and after his ascension. It was important for John to tell us who Jesus was and the importance of Jesus message. And it turns out that this gospel has the most potent words ever spoken. The question is: do you believe them?
