The Punisher, next to Iron Man, is my favorite action marvel hero. The movie was superb and Thomas Jane was the best at showing Frank Castles gritty brutal methods. I'm glad that micro chip wasn't in this one, I don't like him. But it's a great movie indeed. Great action, good acting, great screenplay/script, and the best finale ever! Punisher War Zone... Here I come!

Good violence and action scenes but more blood would have complemeted them better. Same old revenge story where a mans loved ones are killed and he's out to make those responsible pay, what makes this one good is that he turns Travolta against his wife and bestfriend so he dosen't have to then telling travolta he fell for his game.

Too trite, too predictable. We have seen much much better from John Travolta and he has become a stock bad guy character. Plastic performances and thin script. Should have stayed as a comic book.

I was drinking during the movie which made it watchable and funny at times... just because it was so bad... Travolta is sinking to new lows lately... this movie is a joke. AVOID!

The punisher is well adapted from the comic. Thomas Jane is a great punisher and Travolta a very bad evil (more violent than in pulp fiction and reservoir dogs) The film is intense in terms action, violence and emotions (in the beginning (when castle see his family murdered before being injuried and let for dead by evil and also when he remembers how his family was murdered) THis film shows vengeance a man whose family was savagely murdered has nothing to lose. Yes this film is brutal and is not for the faint hearted. But it is great film. Also what I liked this film for was the appareance of muscle cars a 1969-70 pontiac gto and a 1969 dodge coronet superbee. If you like strong action, muscle car and violence you will be served.

It's OK movie. And if you did like "Spiderman" you would probably be just fine with this movie. But I do expect more than ugly females from comic-story (speaking of which The Punisher is). Let me explain: any cult person, Batman, Spider man, whatever, has to has good-looking girlfriend. Well, Punisher had a g/f. But she was 6 from 10.

While it may not be the best movie it suits the comics I feel very well. My only disapointment is the music, if that was better then I think the movie would be more in beat and better so I felt past that and feel that it's a good movie. Maybe not a good movie for non-punisher fans as they won't know how he is.

I love this movie, it's a type of movie I've been waiting for along time to see. This movie has great action sequeance I liked the fact that it was from a marvel comic books and not a copycat of the video game max payne. The Punisher showed feelings, emotions, anger and frustation that led to great action.

Good fight scenes and explosions, but a little unbelievable since no one seems to get hurt even when thrown through a wall? But it's entertaining and fun to watch. Not much of a story or character development though...

I loved this movie. The action sequences and special effects added so much to the stroy of The Punisher. I loved the cars used in the movie as well. Some of my favorites were in there. Finally, the plot development and story line were very well written and were portrayed with eccelent talent.

I was very Surprised that when It came time to go to the Movies My wife Wanted to see "The Punisher", Myself knowing the Gist of the Whole Punisher story was pleased. Now to the Movie. For those who Remember the Original Punisher Starring Dolph Lundgren, This was not even close in action. Guys will expect alot of action in this Movie but it just isn't there. The action however when it does happen is pretty Good. John Travolta Plays the Villian and his Character reminds me of others played by Johnny T. In films like Face off and Broken Arrow. My wife really enjoyed "The Story" which I must admit wasn't too bad, It takes a while for everything to get going so you get a little antsy. But really though This is a movie Guys will like but would be better off if they took thier Girlfriends or Wives to see. As it is not all shoot em up, but a complete movie.

In the comic books, the Punisher evokes a certain level of pathos, and as an anti-hero, you don't exactly consider him a good-guy, but he's not a bad-guy, either. In the movie, he seems to glory in torture, the actor has all the emoting capability of a wombat, and the plot-line is nothing more than a series of ever-more-complicated (and improbable) murders set off by our "hero." If it wasn't for the fact he goes shirtless a lot (a big plus), I'd have given this a 1.

This movie was probably one of the worst I have seen in my life. The fact that the Punisher is heralded as a hero is complete crap, because this man is no hero, he is a murderer. Story line aside, the acting was pretty bad for the most part, and I found myself overall bored with the whole thing.
