This movie was listed as a comedy but I disagree... there was nothing much to laugh about. The movie was very good and recommend it.

OK let's see, totally lame, silly, rediculous premise, contrived... humm, how many other adjectives can I think of. If you're looking for a "brainless" movie to attend but which nonetheless is half entertaining, then check it out but waiting for the DVD is probably a better idea, on one of those nights you're bored and need a DVD as a time killer.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Frankly, it wasn't so bad although the story is not really well developped. You have no idea why the guy gets killed or what is going on with the court. It was funny at times, but the gags where a bit obvious, nothing exceptional. It is good if you really have nothing to do, but wait for it to go out on dvd, maybe the special features will make it worth a bit more.

I like teen movies but this one was definitely lacking something... I had to keep myself from falling asleep at several times! You can go see it but I'd advize you to wait till it comes out on DVD or something.

A good funny movie. Tommy Lee Jones was great. Geared for the younger crowd but we still enjoyed it.

I slept through half of it. It was too stupid for me. More of a kids movie.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] A good idea, but the movie takes on way too much. TL Jones saves the witnesses, catches the bad guys, solves all the cheerleader's problems, makes amends with his daughter, falls in love, oh - and I think he had time to cure breast cancer. That is about a dozen surfacey characters whizzing across your big screen, none properly developed. And what was with the church scenes? It was just shameless standard Hollywood comical view of a stereotypical Black Church, that has been funnier in many a movie. Therefore we are tired of them, AND now realize we are tired of them after seeing it done so badly. A decent editor would have cut those church scenes, as they weren't funny and unnecessary to the whole story. Can I get an AMEN!?
